I (brown hair blue eyes) was sitting in art class by my friend callum (brown hair brown eyes) when someone that isn't our teacher walls in the room saying she's the substitute the second I saw her I knew something was off but I ignored it we got our sketchbooks out and started drawing when she started walking up and down the isles and when she walks past me she slices my arm with a knife I'm scared but I don't know what to do I'm frozen in fear I whisper to my friend "should we leave" and he said "obviously" then we got our bags and just ran we kept running until we reached the fire escape then suddenly "make your way to the assembly hall there is a murderer on the loose keep calm" so we had to make a decision do we leave the school or do we go to the hall, someone else makes the choice for us, were pushed and screamed at in urgency to go to the assembly hall we go, Mr shaw (the principal) gives a speech about what we're going to do, I was barely listening, too freaked out, then I notice her in the side of the room and suddenly she's running though the crowds stabbing people in her way, me and my friend ran out the hall and found my mum waiting, he decided to walk home tho when I told my mum what happened she drove away as fast as she could
Dreams can often reflect our fears and anxieties, as well as our subconscious processing of experiences and emotions. In this dream, there are several elements that could be symbolic.
The art class setting may represent a creative or expressive aspect of your life. The presence of a substitute teacher who immediately feels "off" could suggest a sense of unfamiliarity or discomfort with a new situation or person in your waking life.
The act of the substitute teacher slicing your arm with a knife can symbolize feelings of vulnerability or being harmed by someone or something. It may indicate an emotional or psychological wound that you fear or that you feel has already occurred. The fear and feeling frozen in the dream represent a sense of powerlessness or difficulty taking action in the face of a threat or danger.
The choice between leaving the school or going to the assembly hall may represent different ways of dealing with a difficult or dangerous situation. The fact that someone else makes the choice for you suggests a lack of control or agency in the situation. The urgency and chaos of the crowd running to the assembly hall further emphasize the feeling of being overwhelmed or swept up in events beyond your control.
The presence of the murderer in the assembly hall could symbolize a looming threat or danger in your life that you are trying to escape or protect yourself from. The act of running out of the hall and finding your mum waiting may represent seeking comfort, safety, or support from a trusted person in your life.
Overall, this dream may reflect feelings of vulnerability, powerlessness, and a need for protection or support in the face of perceived threats or dangers in your waking life. It could be helpful to explore any current or recent experiences or emotions that may be triggering these fears and anxieties.
